Book Domestic Flights
Over the past few years, there has been a marked increase in the number of domestic travelers preferring flights over other modes of travel. And why not? With so many new airlines introducing domestic flights to even smaller cities within India at competitive airfare, there couldn't be a better time to plan your domestic travels. The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) releases both domestic and international air traffic reports every month. DGCA provides information about traffic in various routes in these reports. Currently, the total domestic air traffic is more than 90 lakh passengers every month with more than 300 routes.

The last two decades have been quite fruitful for the civil aviation industry of India. With the advancement in technology and entry of low-cost carriers, air travel came within the reach of the common man. The domestic flights in the country are handled by full-service airlines like Jet Airways, Vistara and Air India, and budget carriers like Go Air, IndiGo, SpiceJet and AirAsia India. Besides, numerous internationally based airlines operate to and out of India.
